Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better today it went WIDE OPEN! Fire drill back and fourth w doubles and triples. Battling sea lions and killer whales for our fish. Limits for 6 guests= 12 salmon to 18lbs plus a limit for the crew. Killer whales, humpbacks and gray whales in the tack….

World class salmon bite today aboard the Taylor Gene! Early limits for our guests with 7 hookups and 7 fish landed, releasing one small one. We expect the bite to remain red hot! Water temp 53 air 60s. Calm sea. Boat loads of fun w fish to 15#.

Today was world class on the Monterey Bay! Our guests enjoyed pulling crab pots for 40 dungeness crabs and then ventured on to the rockfish grounds where we caught limits of high graded Olive rockfish.. Our 6 anglers enjoyed a great sunny day on the bay. We trolled near moss landing and landed 3 beautiful salmon to 15 lbs. Had a few no shows but everyone is eating salmon tonight! The whales didn’t disappoint either..

Our 6 anglers had beautiful fall weather in the morning before turning blistery. Crabbing is still good with 5-6 jumbo crab per person. Our next opener is for crab on Sunday November 5th. Add a crab pot pull to any charter for only $200.00, that’s up to 60 crab!! Or decide just to go out and pull some traps and head back in.. Which ever your choice, there is nothing better than fresh dungies that you land yourself!!
