Taylor Gene is a well-functioning 34′ Hatteras Sportfisher with a fully-enclosed, heated cabin that keeps you dry and comfortable while traveling to and from our fishing grounds. She features twin 250hp tier-II EPA Cummins turbo diesels along with ample decking and seating both inside and outside the cabin. Her beam is 12′ 6″ with a completely unobstructed deck giving up to six anglers more than enough elbow room. There is a full set of state-of-the-art electronics, a plethora of rod and tackle storage, private head, as well as an extra comfortable salon and V berth. I usually average 70-100 days of fishing per year, needless to say, I'm addicted to fishing. Fishing with Captain Joe with Chartle Charters is a blast. He knows the local Santa Cruz waters very well. Whether you're fishing for a local rockfish trip or hunting for bonito/blue fin game fish, he is my first choice. The boat has plenty of deck space to fish and comfortable ride.

Captain Gregory Gomez showed us excellent spots to catch live bait which then led him to show us exactly where we would be to catch fish. Without a doubt as soon as we cast we’re getting bites. Very clean boat, very professional, 10/10 highly recommend!
