Offshore Rockfish opener 2025

Offshore Deep water Rockfish/Lingcod fishing returns to the Coastal Waters of Santa Cruz and the Monterey Bay! We will be running Offshore Jumbo Rockfish trips on select days throughout the month of April.

Even with the unsettled weather as of late, the fishing grounds are far enough out to little affected by it. The coastal bay shore is loaded with anchovies, so soon other targetable gamefish should arrive by the nearshore fishery opener on May 1, 2025.
