Picture perfect day!
Our charter was very happy today with their limits of black & blue rockfish upto 4lbs, a 6 lb Lingcod and a beautiful 32lb Halibut. It was a picturesque sunny flat day. It doesn’t get much better than this! David enjoys playing with bait!
Great potluck produces varied catch..
A regular of ours had some last minute family visiting from out of town, their landings included limits of red, brown and black rockfish, 5 Lingcod upto 14lbs and two 5lb cabozone.. It was a great way to spend some quality time together..
4 Lingcod upto 16lbs + rockfish limits..
Our private charter landed 4 Lingcod upto 16lbs plus limits of rockfish of Black, Red and Blue upto 4lbs. Weather was flat and overcast..
International guests choose catch & release..
Our private charter passing through from Poland choose to catch and release their landings which included a variety of rockfish, Lincod, Mackerel, sand dabs along with sand and bone sharks. They had a wonderful time on their last day here in Santa Cruz before heading up to the City to complete their U.S. vacation.
6 Lings for 5 anglers!
Our charter of 5 anglers had a good day bringing up 6 Lingcod along with limits for boat and crew of rockfish containing Blacks & Blues.. It was sunny and the winds picked up by 10:00am..
Double charters produced lots of nice Lingcod up to 12lbs!!
Our first charter of the day had fun with a double header of twin Lingcods weighing 12lbs along with limits of rockfish. The weather was flat and beautiful west of Santa Cruz. Our second charter enjoyed a boat load of black and blues to 4lbs and 6 Lingcod to 10lbs. Our 10 year old angler, KO enjoyed the record with the biggest Ling of the day! Everyone had a great day!!
A little bit of everything!!!
Our 6 anglers enjoyed flat calm seas today with no wind.. We headed West of Santa Cruz and boated limits of jumbo blue and black rockfish for both passengers and crew. We then drifted live bait which produced 4 lingcod upto 12lbs and a 30lb Halibut thrown in for fun. Everyone had a great time.

Lingcod limits still going strong!!
Our party of 4 anglers headed out at 7:00am and knowing that winds were coming up early we quickly jigged up 50 mackerel and proceeded straight to the Lingcod grounds where we landed limits (12) of Lingcod upto 12lbs. In addition we also boated 3/4 limits of Jumbo Yellow, Brown and Vermilion Rockfish to 6lbs….
