Fishing efforts shift to nearshore.

We started the day with high overcast skies and no wind. Our charter began on a Salmon mission but decided to change over around 10:00am. We headed over to the west side of Santa Cruz and searched the rocks where we landed nice scores of blacks, copper, brown and vermilion rockfish upto 4lbs.  The weather was beautiful with a cool 60′ air and 55′ water. Our concentration will remain on the nearshore until Salmon decide to show.
