Breaking bread and cracking crab!!!
This Saturday 11/5 at 12:00am, the 2016/17 sport crab season officially opens, Woo hoo!!! However this wife made plans that involves reservations and family celebrations. Translation— pots will be dropped Monday 11/7. Our first available world renowned crab combo trips will be available beginning Tuesday 11/8 and will run through the end of the year….
keeping it local continues to produce early limits.
Another beautiful day with off shore breeze and sunny skies. Again we boated early limits of jumbo olives averaging 2-3lbs for anglers and crew. Around 10:00am the fog came in, the swell came up and the south winds started to blow but we still managed to boat 3 Lingcod to 12lbs.

After a week of unfavorable weather on the ocean we had a beautiful day of sun with flat calm seas that brought a small ground swell. We limited out on nice olives and landed 4 Lingcod to 10lbs for 6 anglers. Air was a mild 65′ with water at 59′.
Repeat!!
And the story continues! Six Limits of Jumbo Black and Olive rockfish to 4 pounds! We released a few lingcod but had no keepers. The big ones should arrive anyday now. Weather was Sunny, Flat, with no wind. air 75 with water at 57.

Weather and Catching today was downright fantastic!! We Had non stop action from the first cast and boated 7 jumbo limits of black and olive Rockfish averaging 3 pounds. We drifted for lingcod and released 3 and boated a 7 pounder. Sunny and flat calm with no swell air was 72 and the water was 57

Our morning trip enjoyed seven limits (crew+passengers) of olive rockfish to 3 pounds along with bringing aboard 2 Lingcod to 8 pounds. It was a sunny flat day with air at 75′ and water at 60′. Our Evening trip enjoyed 4 limits of jumbo olive and black rockfish. We had a nice breeze yet sunny…
Wide open rockfish continue!!
Our vacationers from Colorado enjoyed flat calm seas with some pretty foggy skies while taking advantage of wide open rockfishing. They boated 4 limits of olive and black rockfish to 5lbs with an additional 4 lingcod to 9lbs. Air was a cool 65 with water warming to 62′.

Today’s charter landed quick limits of lunker olives, black and vermilion rockfish to 6 lbs along with a 9lb Lingcod!!! We had pea soup fog early that cleared to a nice 60′ with water at 58′

Early limits of jumbo olive rockfish to 4lbs for charter and crew. Additionally another 3 lingcod were landed to 11lbs. Air was a pleasant 62′ with water temps dropping to 58′. Spectacular whale show all the way back in!!!
