Beautiful weather produces nice fish.
Our 6 anglers enjoyed flat calm seas and great fishing while boating a boatload of big brown, copper and black rockfish plus kept 3 nice lingcod. The Salmon made a showing today so they are back on the menu! Time to go now before they’re history!!
Tough weather produces nice results.
Our 4 anglers had tough weather first thing but that didn’t stop the bite as the fish were cooperating quite nicely. However as the weather improved the bite definitely slowed. We kept enough fish for the family party and released the rest. Black, brown and a few big yellowtail rockfish were in the mix along with a bonus bright green lingcod. By the end of the charter the sea had settled to a flat calm.
Fishing efforts shift to nearshore.

The salmon informational meeting held in Santa Rosa reported lower numbers than last year.
